I'm probably going to start posting more of my traditional art :happybounce: 
here is a rose that I drew for my mom's birthday~
the pinkish hue is from editing the picture, I know i'm a dirty cheater Disbelief

Really nicely done! The only thing I would recommend is pushing your value. The middle petals and petals on the far right are beautifully done because they have such a strong contrast. There are bright brights and dark darks. The petals on the left appear to be in shadow but fall a bit flat because they appear to be relatively the same value. A trick a professor taught me was to squint. If you squint at your drawing, you can see value a lot better and get a better sense of what areas look flat. I wish I had a pen so I can circle areas I'm referring to but if the bottom of the petal closest to us (the largest one) if you darkened the bottom corner of the petal a tad more it would really help the petal appear like it is curving. There is great use of light and medium values, you just need to add a bit more darker value for that punch. It will also help the rose look more realistic!
